Inspired by my passion for beach combing and all the wonderful treasures that can be found on the strandline I have created a range pieces that combine techniques.
The seaweed is pressed and then encapsulated between glass, the glass is carefully selected and assembled around the central seaweed pressing. I then paint a selection of things I have found on my beach visits. The paint is fired on in the kiln and then the pieces are leaded, cemented and polished up.
