We have many resident herons in our local park, Eastville in Bristol. This one posed beautifully amongst the lily pads and green shadowy waters below the trees hunting for fish, my husband a keen photographer captured him. Metal cages have been sunk and planted to encourage biodiversity and it's a joy to see the results.
