A fun one day course where you will learn the traditional skill of painting on stained glass using Reuche paints. We will spend the day learning traditional techniques of line work and matting and explore more experimental approaches to painting and mark making.
You will create two smaller paintings on glass to try out techniques and build understanding and confidence and then you will design your own panel inspired by the natural world. We will translate your design into a cartoon (line drawing of your design), select and cut the glass for your panel, painting your design onto the different sections.
Reuche paint requires firing in the kiln which I will do for you and lead up your panels, which will be sent well wrapped in the post to you, then you can hang your creation in a window and enjoy all your hard work!
